I'm trying something again: hosting my own Mastodon server!

@jsbw I'm a newb mastodon hoster as well. Having a few teething problems but getting there. How much system resources are you throwing at this?
@boojit Ooo very interesting. Yeah, I think it's gonna be touch and go/trial and error for a while while I figure out what this server can handle...
@jsbw Thanks for that. I'm similar but on AWS. My instance stopped responding in the middle of the night; I had trouble even rebooting it. Still not sure what caused it outside of I'm fairly certain it had something to do with RAM exhaustion. I found a configuration issue that was causing lots of sidekiq errors. So not sure if that is root cause; we will see.
